The question was fair - it was about 60 degrees at the Ski place in the afternoon. However one must remember that they make snow. There was about a 30 - 36 inch base. Being on the snow was comparable to being in a walk in freezer.
The cold ascended from the mammoth ice pack to cool the face that dripped with sweat.
