It's been just over a month since we've arrived in Mt. Pleasant. Much has already happened. We're almost unpacked. We're beginning to know our way around. We're learning more names of people in our new church and meeting our neighbors. We had a week of VBS - its called Day Camp here. Last week we enjoyed several trips to the county fair. The boys especially enjoyed watching the bucking bulls. They had hoped to be selected to ride the sheep as a part of the night, but their names weren't pulled. They watched with amusement as people their size went speeding around on the back of a crazed sheep, many of them crashing into gates - good thing they had bike helmets on the kids.
The people here have been very kind and have sought to help us settle in. We are blessed.
Moses picked up a bike soon after we arrived and within a couple of days, he was riding around the parking lot. Asa asked for a bike a little smaller. This past Saturday he got his bike. In two attempts, he was riding around the parking lot.

The question isn't always whether you can get everything unpacked, but how long the closets can hold back the floods.
This is a great church , with a fine pastor
