Clearfield, PA

Yesterday we traveled from Mt. Pleasant to Clearfield, PA.

Clearfield is the home of my cousin, Joel, who pastors the Clearfield Free Methodist Church.  The church building is unique, reflecting a Presbyterian influence with the Parsonage, or manse built as a part of the church building.

Driving to Clearfield reminded Anna and I of our years in Falconer, NY.  South of Cleveland the terrain changes from flat land to rolling hills and then the mountains of the east – not quite like Colorado

We’re setting out this morning for Gettysburg and then Washington.

Jason, glad to hear you are out and about. Maybe your trip could have gone a little more south to capture some sunshine, but I am glad you and your family enjoyed some time together.

I did leave some Advent materials at the church for you called FLAMES FOR THE FAITHFUL. Thought you might enjoy them.
