A well lived life

How would you define a life lived well? Here's a couple of sentences from an obituary that go a good ways in describing it.

"Dick was intellectually curious and took delight in never knowing where the exploration
of any given topic would take him.  He very much wanted to see what was over
the hill or around the next bend. Dick loved people in all their variety.
He accumulated a legion of friends, acquaintances and correspondents over the years."

Is it our interactions with other people that make our lives meaningful

I definitely agree! We cannot live without the help of others.
