This picture was taken at my in-laws farm near Fremont, MI near the end of June.
We took a trip to Michigan following my youngest brothers wedding.
We had a great time connecting with family and friends along the way.
Along the way I was given a gift that I didn't expect - the gift of affirmation. In different ways, at different times, my parents and my in-laws affirmed my role and work as a dad. I love the different roles I get to play in the spectrum of life, but being a dad is one of my most prized joys. Being an uncle is pretty cool too! This picture speaks to that great joy!
