A Christian bookstore (Cooks Christian Supply) in Mt. Pleasant asked if I would submit a list of recommended books. They are offering these books in their store and if people come in from the church where I serve as pastor, with a bulletin, they'll give them a 20% discount on these books. The books I selected reflect a cross section of work from devotional, to biography, to ancient contributions, to ministry application. As Dennis Kinlaw says in quoting AW Tozer, we don't have time to read good books, we have to read the best books. I would suggest two other contributors - anything from CS Lewis, and The Shack, by William Paul Young.
