The Spirit of Detroit

If you've seen the adds by Chrysler featuring their "imported from Detroit" car, you've seen this sculpture.  It is an impressive work of art in front of City Hall in Detroit.  While the image of the sculpture is powerful, we should take heed to the words written on the wall behind the sculpture and those on the plaque in front of it.
